Moen YB8864CH 90 Degree 4-Light Bathroom Vanity Light Fixture - Chrome Finish with Frosted Glass Shades - Perfect for Modern Bathrooms, Powder Rooms & Dressing Areas

I purchased this Moen 90-Degree Four Globe Bath Light to replace a light fixture in a guest bathroom that wasn't working correctly. I cheaped out on the original fixture after remodeling the bathroom and regretted it since installation. This time I was determined to get a quality light fixture and I'm glad that I went with the Moen bath light.--------------------► Installation--------------------If you're an experienced DIY'er or even new to home projects, installing this light fixture is very, very simple. Moen designed this fixture with a quick-connect electrical connection that makes install so much easier than lights without this feature. Basically, you receive a small wiring harness that features a plastic factory-attached fitting on one end and on the other pre-stripped wires (black, white, green). You install the wiring harness first by attaching the bare-wire side to you homes' electric box.Next up you install the mounting bracket, a metal fitting that secures to the electric box and holds the light up. Strangely, the instructions from Moen have a mistake in them and instruct the installer to mount the plate with the mounting screws for the fixture in a vertical configuration. This is incorrect and the instructions should say a horizontal configuration!To connect the light fixture you simply lift up the frame, guiding the two mounting screws through the predrilled holes and connect the quick-connect wires to the matching fitting on the light fixture. The light is secured with two chrome-finished lugs that are hand tightened.Lastly, Moen included a small plastic tool to help screw on the metal sleeves that hold the glass globes in-place. If you have small hands you should be able to hand tighten.All told, installation in my home was less than an hour including removal of the old fixture. Simple!--------------------► Aesthetic--------------------I ordered this light fixture in the chrome finish to match the rest of my bathroom and both my wife and I love it! The globes face downward and look fantastic with our 5K LED light bulbs. This fixture can accommodate bulbs up to 100-watts per bulb.This light fixture is simple, clean and looks terrific in our guest bathroom.--------------------► Thoughts on Quality--------------------I've used Moen plumbing product throughout my home and it's a name that I trust for quality, durable fixtures. After installing this light fixture I'd say the same goes for Moen lighting products. This light is expensive but looks great, is well-built, and works flawlessly. Lesson learned from buying a cheap fixture - buy right the first time!--------------------► Closing--------------------If you're considering this fixture I can't say enough positive things - buy it already!
